The CareerCats are a campus-wide career marketing and advertising group comprised of high-achieving, visionary student leaders charged with the mission of marketing and promoting Career Services events, programs, and services.
This group provides an outstanding opportunity for students to develop their skills and interests in areas such as public relations, creative design, and marketing & research, and program planning. The CareerCats are looking for a energetic, creative, and fun individuals to become part of the team!
Role of the Team - To assist with the marketing and promotion of Career Services events, programs and services. Benefits of Participation - Students who volunteer have the opportunity to participate in special projects based on their unique interests and talents and take on increasing levels of responsibility based on participation - Develop highly marketable skills: leadership, communication, marketing, public relations and organizational
- Obtain valuable experience to build your resume
- Interface with employers, administrators and career services staff at an exclusive level
Expectations: - Attend two planning meetings per month
- Volunteer to assist with projects based on your interests and talents as needed
- Represent Career Services in a professional manner at all times
- Look for opportunities to enhance the image of Career Services on campus
- Remain in good academic standing (minimum 2.0 GPA)
